The bolt on skeg will help the craft track better when paddling, or when using just as bow mount trolling motor.

You do not need this if- your using a transom mounted motor, it is better to have clean water getting to the prop of a rear mounted motor. 

Please allow one to two weeks for delivery. we do not use big carriers for kayak shipping as they damage too many kayaks. we use small independant drivers that are much more careful. any questions on shipping please call or email us.
